Objective  : there is /are 

There is = este / exista

There isn't = nu este / nu exista

Is there ? = Exista / Este ?

There are = sunt 

There aren't = nu sunt 

Are there ? = Exista/ sunt ? 

Examples : 

Look at the picture of the kitchen and hall on page  35 and make sentences about them :

In the hall there is a door.

In the hall there are stairs.

In the hall there is a floor.

In the hall there are walls.

Im the hall there isn't a bed.

In the kitchen there isn't a wardrobe.

Is there a fridge in the kitchen?

Yes, there is. 

Make sentences about the living room at page 35 : 

There is a wall.

There isn't a bed.

There is a fireplace.

There isn't a carpet.

There are some curtains.

There aren't any paintings.

2. Subst care se termina in : -ch,-sh,-o,-x, -ss primesc - es pentru a forma pluralul 

Ex : 

one watch - two watches

one brush - two brushes

one potato- two potatoes

one box- two boxes 

one dress- two dresses

3. Subst care se termina in - f sau - fe  inlatura terminatia si adauga - ves la plural 

Ex: 

one knife - two knives ( cutit)

one wolf - two wolves  (lup)

4. Subst care se termina in consoana si - y inlatura terminatia si adauga -ies la plural 

one country - two countries

5. Subst care se termina in vocala si - y fac pluralul prin adaugare de -s 

one toy- two toys
